The Australian government “plans to introduce a mandatory Internet filtering system by early 2011 that will block obscene and crime-linked Web sites.”

I don’t doubt that “criminal” will quickly include “politically incorrect” and so-called “hate” sites.   Of course normal people object to abusive pornographic sites.  But if the government focused on stopping sexual abuse and exploitation by the truly criminal and malevolent, there wouldn’t be any way to justify such filters.   Cultural degradation is obviously helping the destruction of our sacred freedoms and rights.
