“Based on the February 2011 United States-Canada joint declaration, Beyond the Border: A Shared Vision for Perimeter Security and Economic Competitiveness, Eagle Eye Expositions, LLC plans to present a new event called the US/Canada Border Conference at the Cobo Center in Detroit, MI, on Sept. 10-11, 2013.
“… The first will be the Border Security Expo in Phoenix, AZ, slated for March 12-13, 2013; the next will be the Global Summit on Borders in Washington, DC, on May 7-8, 2013.
“The comprehensive two-day conference and exhibition in Detroit will focus on implementation of the “Beyond the Border” declaration with specific goals outlined in its Action Plan, including (1) addressing threats early, (2) trade facilitation, (3) economic growth, and (4) integrated cross-border law enforcement.
