In this type of movie, the human beings called “zombies” are killed in mass numbers by the military or other “good guys”. Otherwise people would just see this kind of thing as mass murder.

Has anyone noticed the obsession over zombies in the media – entertainment, advertising, etc. – and the proliferation of the topic way beyond what is warranted? What does it mean?
