It’s also the only country in the Americas to put a 10-year ban on genetically modified food, with a law that was first introduced in 2011, and went into effect at the end of last year. . . .
But they still allow imported GMO food to be sold on store shelves.
I don’t automatically trust the use of the term “biodiversity”, but their biodiversity argument sounds completely rational.
Peruvians are going to be better off than Canadians and Americans, but nobody’s shields are completely up. Everyone wants to be naive and to believe in good intentions.
