Conserving Energy (May 31, 2006)
Speaking of nonsense, now we are having our annual summer hand-ringing rituals over air-conditioning and power consumption in Ontario, with people asked to “save the planet” and conserve power, because – surprise surprise – the centrally planned and regulated electricity system starts to break down.
Allow a free market, please, so that we can have something approaching a civilized society where people can decide for themselves how much power they can afford to consume and what their priorities are.
I’m tired of being ordered to conserve energy and water. I’m tired of hearing bogous scare propaganda from environmentalist high priests. I think your system and your way of doing things and your way of thinking is a pile of disgusting anti-human crap. If I want something, I’ll pay for it.
