Canadian government shields COVID-19 vaccine manufacturers from legal responsibility and announces vaccine injury support
Coronavirus vaccine makers are shielded from liability. Here’s why officials say that’s normal By Rachel Gilmore |Global News | December 14, 2020
The government has confirmed that coronavirus vaccine manufacturers are protected from liability . . . .
“Let’s be clear that indemnification clauses in vaccine contracts are standard,” Procurement Minister Anita Anand told reporters….
“All countries, generally speaking, are faced with the issue of indemnification of companies, especially in cases of novel technologies like this.”
When pressed on whether Canada is including these indemnification clauses as part of the contracts that have been drawn up with vaccine manufacturers, Anand confirmed that this is the case.
Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) document (from 2017, updated September 2019)
“To prevent delays in release of the vaccine at time of pandemic, the pandemic vaccine supply contract stipulates that the Government of Canada will indemnify the manufacturer against any claims or lawsuits brought against it by third parties”.
This removal of liability for vaccine manufacturers is an issue . . .
with many people!
. . . the government announced its intention to establish a “pan-Canadian no-fault vaccine injury support program” that provides Canadians with support in the “rare event that they experience an adverse reaction to a vaccine.”
Liberals announce a vaccine-harms compensation program

The federal Liberals have announced financial support for anyone who suffers an ‘adverse reaction’ from a COVID-19 vaccine approved by Health Canada
Government of Canada Announces pan-Canadian Vaccine Injury Support Program

. . . Vaccines are only approved in Canada after thorough and independent review of the scientific evidence. They are also closely monitored once on the market and can quickly be removed from market if safety concerns are identified. . . .
Notice how it doesn’t say they do their own science or testing. They review the evidence presented by the manufacturer.
Like any medication, vaccines can cause side effects and reactions.. .
However, it is also possible for someone to have a serious adverse reaction to a vaccine. . . .
It is for this reason that the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) is implementing a pan-Canadian no-fault vaccine injury support program for all Health Canada approved vaccines, in collaboration with provinces and territories. . . .
I don’t believe their assurance that these types of reactions are “rare” or “one in a million.” It’s strange to make such a generalization about “vaccines” especially when they can be based on entirely different technologies. When I went through the product monograph for the first COVID-19 vaccine approved for Canada, I see the data showing that “severe” reactions occurred during the study. I don’t know how long-lasting those reactions were, but the percentages weren’t one in a million. Go through the tables yourself (document).
I am sure that many events are screened out of the official statistics for one excuse or another–especially if they are reactions that occur after some delay. These new mRNA vaccines (and others) were rushed and have had no long-term studies.
And I also don’t expect any to be done either that are honest and open because of the oppressive nature of this whole government-media-corporate “Great Reset” regime that has been established and the history behind those who are backing the vaccines and the pandemic response–the top funder (along with other organizations) of the WHO being the Gates Foundation (see also).
