Latest Conservative Party let-down – national committee disqualifies Oxford candidate
Disclaimer: these are “mainstream” media stories, post-COVID they’ve thoroughly trashed their reputations except with Big Brother, so I use them with caution, but the basic story is correct. I detect they have narrowed the focus of the story to an anti-abortion group, which would also tend to lead their readers to falsely believe the public has no interest in restricting abortion:
Conservatives defend ousting Ontario candidate amid anger from anti-abortion group
Conservative byelection candidate disqualified for views on abortion, says anti-abortion group
I don’t think it’s just because he’s anti-abortion. But even that should make us wonder about what the point is of the Conservative Party’s existence. Is there anything democratically representative at all about these parties and their policies?
I am not familiar with any of the candidates involved. There seems to be a fake reason as to why he was disqualified, that he didn’t submit some information requested, which seems bogus to me, like it’s just a cover. And possibly his pro-life stance is part of the concern, but I think there is more.
A statement from Rick Roth, one of the candidates (others have made similar statements):
…
“I was extremely disappointed to learn that Gerrit Van Dorland has been disqualified to run as a Conservative candidate in Oxford. I strongly believe that local party members should be the final decision makers in this process.
…
“This community has strong and unwavering values in faith and family, and Gerrit’s campaign spoke to these principles. His removal as a candidate not only risks silencing their voices, but it sets a dangerous path of ignoring grassroots voices for a preferred parachute candidate with no connection to our community.
…
And here is Gerrit Van Dorland’s website:
Gerrit Van Dorland (https://www.gerritvandorland.ca/)
With the support and input of many of you in the community, I am excited to be seeking the federal Conservative nomination for Oxford to become your next Member of Parliament. My motivation for running is to stand up for the values that have always made Oxford an incredible place to call home—values of Faith, Family, and Freedom.
I think his values-oriented statement challenging Canada’s systematic euthanasia agenda is very good:
With veterans suffering with PTSD being offered assisted suicide, and the government expanding access to euthanasia for those struggling with mental health, it’s clear that we need strong families and strong communities to provide support for our most vulnerable neighbours, and offer them hope. Life is the greatest gift, and every life–regardless of age or ability–is worth living.
There are a lot of statements that are very good, including his points about rights and freedoms.
I agree with this point:
stand up for the dignity and sanctity of human life;
I note that at least one other Oxford candidate, Arpan Khanna, seems to be challenging the MAID/euthanasia program.
However, I think the following statement might be unique as far as Oxford candidates and I personally suspect a couple of the points in this statement may have led to his “disqualification” by the national committee:
fight against online censorship, digital ID, smart cities, or any other measure to compromise our privacy and autonomy;
Hopefully he is reinstated before the nomination selection this week, but in any case, this event confirms my understanding of what the Conservative Party is all about. It’s about centralized, anti-democratic control over its political process. Remember how the rank and file were ignored about climate change when O’Toole became leader.
It’s time like these when we need people speaking out and talking openly.
I wish I could get it across to people that they really need to clear the decks and push out the established parties.
The Conservative Party–just like the Liberal Party-has been actively involved in globalist policies for a long time–whether it’s war or “trade” agreements–like FIPA–or attacks on human life and traditional values.
They never come out completely against the demonization of human production of carbon dioxide. That will not do us any good. It is not representative of the will of the people. Its leaderships especially has let all social engineering pass with just shows of opposition–including euthanasia and gender confusion policies, letting our society be turned upside down within a short decade or two.
It has consistently turned against so-called social conservatives who want basic protections for human life and institutions that uphold traditional values.
The hospitals and schools have become part of the nightmare for many, many Canadians who are actively speaking out while being censored by the controlled media–not just the CBC!
Values matter. If a hospital follows New World Order values, they isolate people, force vaccines and euthanize people. That’s not many of us want, believe it or not. Nobody asked us our opinion!
We could say something similar about what is going on in schools.
People who don’t see the problems are being doped in countless ways — like in Brave New World, the novel. Yes, it’s worth reading as an illustration of the agenda.
There is an agenda to create a Brave New World. That’s all there is to it. These political parties are private organizations. They work for international elites who have a destructive agenda. Bring up any topic and I’ll explain how it’s destructive and it’s not going to end easily. Start asking questions.
There are a lot of things even Van Dorland does not mention. He does not seem to criticize the COVID vaccine injuries and deaths that are going on. Let me know if you hear of any candidates in the major parties doing so. I’m sure people would like to know.
The Conservative Party covered for the Liberals. The provincial Conservative premiers cooperated with the COVID agenda fraud, the outrageous lockdowns, the COVID euthanasia policies against the elderly and others, the suppression of information about alternative treatments, the imposition of coercive vaccination policies, the suppression of information of injuries and deaths.
The Conservative Party has shown its true colours case by case. It can’t hide its real nature from many of us. The rank and file Members of Parliament might be shifting because of strong public opinion expressed during the Freedom Convoy. They feel the pressure from the public. They are playing on the public.
They realize that many members of the public are scared to not vote for the Conservatives.
I wish I could convince people to wake up to this false left-right paradigm, this fake opposition called the “Conservative Party” and how it will end up bringing us nothing good. What’s the point if it just brings in the same type of agenda?
Read some of Van Dorland’s policies above about Digital ID and Smart Cities and censorship and think about where we are headed as a country and how many candidates are even going to make statements such as those!
I will not support the Conservative Party or any candidate personally unless a candidate comes out against the vaccines. Those injections need to be banned. They are hurting people.
But I do recommend pressuring them and every political party and candidate from every angle–with effective information–to make people aware–regardless of this “left” and “right” nonsense–about the harm that has been done to us and what the minimum standards and expectations we have.
The Dutch farmers political party had a tremendous success recently in their Senate. This is where things could go if people organized.
If people are afraid of the Liberals coming back to power, then work towards a coalition of candidates who understand the difference between truth and lies, between right and wrong. Never mind the “left” and “right.” The ideology is going one way and it’s destructive. The brainwashed people won’t shift. Some of those brainwashed people are Conservative voters. They think everything’s fine if they just vote–because of the propaganda coming from the established parties, including the Conservative Party. The rest of us need to challenge our fellow citizens and candidates and move everyone back from the brink.
We–that’s everybody–are still in great danger. The intensive changes to our society, attacks on the former values, and social reconstruction are consistent. Globalism or Brave New World–the corporate world state–is proceeding.
