U.S. government Emergency Alert System broadcast takeover
EMERGENCY ALERT:
YOU DON’T OWN YOUR OWN LIFE. YOU DON’T MAKE YOUR OWN DECISIONS. YOU DON’T OWN YOUR OWN PROPERTY IF WE SAY ITS OURS. YOU DON’T HAVE RIGHTS UNLESS WE SAY SO. YOU’RE NOT FREE. YOU DON’T BELIEVE WHAT YOU WANT. YOU DO WHAT YOU’RE TOLD WHEN YOU’RE TOLD TO DO IT – BY THE GOVERNMENT, BIG CORPORATIONS AND MEDIA – WHO ALL WORK TOGETHER. AND YOU WILL JUST OBEY EVERY STUPID ORDER FROM EVERY SINGLE ONE OF OUR GOONS “IN AUTHORITY” AND YOU WILL LET US STRIP THE WORLD OF ALL HUMAN DECENCY. CONGRATULATIONS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR COMPLIANCE.
www.cnn.com, November 8, 2011: “First-ever nationwide test of Emergency Alert System set for Wednesday”
Total interference with freedom of broadcast speech and use of private property.
“When a station receives the alert, it must discontinue normal programming and make its transmission lines available for the presidential message…”
“After Wednesday’s test, stations must report the results to the FCC within 45 days….”
An “emergency management expert” calls the system “a symbol of the president’s authority and responsibility.”
It’s like in Orwell’s 1984, in which Big Brother, the State – the new God – wants to talk to you whenever it wants.
And the cattle management system uses so-called “emergencies” to get us herded into place, to get us all trained whenever they start the sirens and flashing “red alerts” like in Star Trek.
Most of the article is hand-wringing about how the poor government people fret about their tyranny implementation system, and how supposedly out of date it is and behind schedule, and how they should have “required” equipment upgrades.
“Required”, “must” this and “must” that. All of this disgusting authoritarian language which they camouflage with terms like “participating”.
Yes, the roots of this totalitarian system were laid during the Cold War, which was the old excuse when the elites of West and East pretended to be ideological opposites.
This is when William F. Buckley, the “Conservative” is quoted on the web as writing in the Commonweal on Jan. 5, 1952:
“[W]e have got to accept Big Government for the duration—for neither an offensive nor a defensive war can be waged, given our present government skills, except through the instrument of a totalitarian bureaucracy within our shores. … And if they deem Soviet power a menace to our freedom (as I happen to), they will have to support large armies and air forces, atomic energy, central intelligence, war production boards, and the attendant centralization of power in Washington—even with Truman at the reins of it all.”
So Buckley used the word “totalitarian” even to apply to the scope of the U.S. government POWER GRAB during the Cold War.
Obviously Buckley worked for the power structure and not for freedom and rights like people are led to believe.
So the implication is that “just as soon as the Cold War is over, we’ll fix it, and we’ll let you have your freedom again and we’ll decentralize”. But they never allowed that to happen. Frankly, totalitarianism won the Cold War. We know this is to be a fact as every day becomes more and more totalitarian, with our rights and freedoms and economic well-being being stripped away from us, implying that TOTALITARIANISM or Cold War centralization or the Patriot Act IS NECESSARY TO “PROTECT” our freedoms!
This other Orwellian reform was introduced in the United States called “If you see something, say something!”. Here is the Walmart Public Service Announcement by Janet Napolitano, the head of Homeland Security, which encourages shoppers to report on their fellow citizens as if they lived in East Germany.
