Food shortages could force world into vegetarianism, warn scientists

“Water scarcity’s effect on food production means radical steps will be needed to feed population expected to reach 9bn by 2050.”

This is a clear-cut in-your-face example of how a powerful private group has concentrated control over major news media.

The above Guardian website, supposedly run by “journalists”, receives support from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. “Journalist” means someone who writes on behalf of those in power.

People may think everything’s okay though because the Gates Foundation just wants to promote the supposedly loving and thoughtful “Millenium Development Goals” of the sanctified all-caring unelected unconstitutional banker-controlled United Nations.

(If the UN actually tried to stop the wars started by Western nations, would that help or hinder “Millenium Development Goals”? Why don’t you ask them that? Is the depleted uranium helping with “development”?)

“Leading water scientists have issued one of the sternest warnings yet about global food supplies, saying that the world’s population may have to switch almost completely to a vegetarian diet over the next 40 years to avoid catastrophic shortages.”

“…There will be just enough water [just enough!] IF the proportion of animal-based foods is limited to 5% of total calories and considerable regional water deficits can be met by a … reliable system of food trade…”

“… Animal protein-rich food consumes five to 10 times more water than a vegetarian diet…”

“…We will need a new recipe to feed the world in the future…”

“They are at the mercy of our fragile global food system…”

They provide “stern” fatherly lectures to us about how maybe we shouldn’t have those scary 2 billion more children they keep saying we’re going to have even though many of us have none. And maybe we shouldn’t use advanced irrigation, and maybe we should stop using up all the “global food” and the “global water” that these freaks want to control and ration eventually, and maybe we shouldn’t eat meat anymore. How about that? Sounds like a fun future. If you disagree with them, don’t worry, they’ll work on modifying your opinion and adapting you to doing what’s good for you. They are paid really well to do that.

On the same page, ironically, the Guardian promotes: “Amelia Gentleman: The Complete Orwell Prize Articles (Guardian Shorts) [Kindle Edition]”. The Guardian shows how hip they are to Orwell, so it’s okay for them to advocate totalitarianism for your own good as long as they use convincingly sweet and “scientific”-sounding authoritarian language in their articles.

It’s only that they don’t want you to have any more children, because the earth might run out of water! And food! If we don’t let the bankers take over and make everything even more “global” and even more perfect than it is now with all the people going without food because of war and embargoes and attacks on rights. Think about how wonderful things will be when you give these people even more power. And maybe you shouldn’t be allowed to eat meat any longer. “Scientists” say so – very “sternly” too – like loving god-like father-figures.

Literally, Big Daddy is wagging his finger at us nasty little brats for “overeating” and “waste”. Yes, it’s our fault, not his! Our fault that people are still undernourished in this world (such a shock with all the loving wars that are being waged and various world “trade” meetings where they arrange to send jobs overseas to build up slave labor).

It’s our fault because we don’t feel guilty enough yet despite all the environmentalist climate change B.S. Did you remember to do your recycling? Did you turn off the lights on Earth Hour? Have you been a good boy?

And we still don’t want to PAY enough taxes to make up for our greedy, pig-like selves stuffing our faces and tossing perfectly good food away (?) (corn in the gasoline wasn’t our idea). Actually, the “food” these people push on everyone worldwide with their massive foreign funding systems and bullying is mostly toxic anyway.

Nobody should have to be dependent on any “global” institution or any “global” “food system” that “feeds” the entire world. Don’t you know that people can grow their own food, and look after their own water if they are left alone! The earth and its resources shouldn’t belong to some elite group that sets themselves up to rule over us and tell us how to live.
