Athletes not allowed to talk about politics, setting the perfect example for all slaves
IOC withholds football medal from S Korea’s Park Jong-woo
BBC News – August 12, 2012
“The International Olympic Committee is temporarily withholding a bronze medal from a South Korean football player who displayed a political sign after a win against Japan….
“The statutes of both the IOC and Fifa prohibit political statements by athletes and players…“
His particular issue makes no difference to me, but the point is that athletes sign up with organizations like the Olympics or FIFA in which they have no free speech.
I guess free speech isn’t important to them and most of them have nothing important to say. Athletes sacrifice their free speech so they can be worshiped by the public who spend their time watching sports and who don’t have any need for free speech either.
It’s typical of how we all live now anyway. We spend our lives slaving away following simple instructions, paying bills, playing games and being entertained. Big decisions are made through treaties, NGOs, lots of corporate rules and government legislation that nobody reads. We maybe listen to some filtered news propaganda and check a box when we vote.
Otherwise we leave important matters to the serious, expert and god-like people who rule over us.
By the way, if it’s about “peace”, sure. To globalists, “peace” means you’re not supposed to express your opinion – for example, about all the wars (irony) they are supporting actively or implicitly. You sacrifice free speech for “peace” or global unity – meaning globalist governments fight their wars and implement their controls until there are no dissenting cultures or opinions – in other words world tyranny.
