An Interview with Ian T. Taylor – “In the Minds of Men: Darwin and The New World Order” – #156 www.gnosticmedia.com | December 18, 2012
This interview tries to focus on the New World Order and not so much on the creation vs. evolution controversy, but these are both important parts of Canadian Ian Taylor’s book In the Minds of Men.
I was very impressed with his book even though I don’t accept his literal version of biblical creation. The book is very interesting because he presents a lot of information that casts doubts on the theory of evolution, and I think he does this very effectively. On the same subject, I was also impressed with Forbidden Archeology by Michael Cremo.
There is some very interesting historical information that Ian Taylor presents in his book. It’s worth putting aside prejudices to read it.
From my reading of his book, the history of the promotion of the theory of evolution comes across as one big dubious scam after another.
Myself personally, I’m comfortable now with someone presenting me with evidence of their scientific theory, but I was certainly never comfortable with “authorities” in the media or at school browbeating me over the head about a belief system that contradicted my religious tradition and which didn’t seem obvious to me at all.
To me, it seems that modern society’s conventional beliefs – such as evolution, whether true or not – are held up by propaganda – by publicity events and repetition – by the glue and sticky tape of authoritative assertions and unconvincing stories.
And also this propaganda is important to the elites in practice only because it serves a political end goal, because it asserts their philosophy of “superior” and “inferior” (survival of the fittest), and because it asserts their view of how the “future” should be, their “ideal” society, dominated by what they call “science” which is really just a priesthood of authorized professionals telling us what to believe and what to do.
So it’s the story of a power grab in my view and the attempt to overturn nature, natural law, family, religious beliefs and conscience, cultural identity, individuality, freedom and individual rights such as property rights and privacy.
T. H. Huxley promoted the theory of evolution and created an X-Club of men who took over scientific institutions (and used the Anglican Church also). Aldous Huxley promoted the ideas of Brave New World and his brother Julian Huxley, a founder of UNESCO – and the World Wildlife Fund – promoted the humanist agenda and the transhumanist agenda – eugenics and enhancement – the agenda of continued human evolution.
From those who dominate our society and our education system, this is the story of how you are supposed to view the modern world and your place in it, and how you’re supposed to perceive “progress” and the future – based on the politically correct dictates coming from governments, foundations, international banks and the United Nations.
