On the Esalen Institute: deep change in self & society (updated July 19)
I have collected some background information on the topic of the Esalen Institute.
For information that is critical of Esalen, you can go here for related posts, including links to two documentaries: The Net and The Crazy Rulers of the World.
The more information the better. I am adding some information below from the “other side” about the Institute itself for further research. Some of it is really interesting.
Official website: www.esalen.org
The motto on their website (July 8, 2014) is: “On Ancient Ground, Opening New Horizons: Pioneering Deep Change in Self & Society”
So here is at least one special group working away through the decades at CHANGING you and your society.

Audio about Esalen
There are references to the above books in at least one of the following programs. The books are included to help readers access further information on this topic.
If you listen to these audio files (using iTunes or otherwise), you’ll get a real sense of Esalen’s social engineering activities.
They might be kind of boring to some, but these could be of interest to anyone who has listened to the Art Bell Show (Coast to Coast AM)–I confess!–or for anyone who is interested in summer camps, mind control, religion, philosophy, Cold War relations among scientists (special diplomatic privileges of course), psychic research, psychic spies, New Age, the military (yes), human potential, hippies, drugs and psychedelic movement, Terence McKenna, the Huxley family, population control and environmentalist fake scarcity doctrines, earth-worship, as well as stories about Hunter S. Thompson and other famous “coincidentally” well-placed celebrities (academic, musical, literary).

My Notes
*”leadership” education for tomorrow
*”Complementary” medicine is one of the fields mentioned. Worth looking into what they meant by this and what the result was. I think we deserve effective medical treatment for a change, whether it’s mainstream monopoly medicine or other types of medicine. And I don’t think we get that. -

My notes:
*These people are always telling us to “change”, that humanity needs “evolution” as per the social-engineering agenda of Julian Huxley etc. I guess it’s just a question of how successful the pacification conditioning is and how obedient we are.
*Military think tanks (of course, helps with the “change” I guess). Try to watch The Crazy Rulers of the World (see my link above to other posts) for more examples of military participation.
*Then it’s the true religion of non-stop depopulation propaganda backed by mystical sources. “Only one” child, says the “mushroom”! The Black Plague was a “safety valve”! Isn’t that nice? The earth needs “regeneration”, so we let everything turn into a Dark Age jungle. The common people supposedly won’t need any resources for themselves–just the corporations.
*”No one has to die” for this “revolution”. Oh, there’s a “revolution”? Didn’t you hear? Not having so many children now. -
iTunes U: Esalen: Education for Life on the Edge, Aurora Forum, Stanford University, Dec 17, 2007, Episode 24.
Description:
The brainchild of two Stanford graduates, Michael Murphy and Richard Price, Esalen Institute on the Big Sur coast has had a profound influence on American religious history over the last half-century.
My notes:
*One of them, maybe not literally, talked about the paranormal or the “impossible becoming possible”
*Someone in the audience may have mentioned “homeostasis” which, to me, has totalitarian implications–you know, the “earth” “system” has to get rid of the “unwanted” humans, I guess–meaning there will be a “wise” authoritarian elite who orders vicious acts–justified in the name of the “earth” or for the “progress” or “evolution” of “humanity”. This idea of human social evolution that Julian Huxley wrote about (and you hear it all the time from different sources) is totalitarian and intolerant. The lady threw in the term and I’m throwing in my translation.
*What do they want to change? Listen to the propaganda to answer that. What gives them the right to “change” people and society in their preferred ways? Nothing. But the power of the State will act on these policies eventually (and they already do) if the policies express the will of an elite whom the State serves. And since most people believe in the State, they go along, especially if the media propaganda system backs it up.
*Guests included military people. Is that “anti-establishment”?
*Soviet policy. All those years of prepping for the merger of East and West (as predicted by Norman Dodd of the 1950s Reece Committee), they were meeting lots of Russian academics while everybody else was fed propaganda about the supposed enemy “over there”.
*”Affective” education using emotions. Have to follow up on that topic.
*Arnold Toynbee! (featured in Carroll Quigley’s books). Abe Maslow! Hunter S. Thompson!
*”New World View” – east and west.

iTunes U: Jeffrey Kripal – Esalen: America and the Religion of No Religion, FORA.tv, Sep 17, 2009, Episode 4.
Presentation by Jeffrey Kripal.
My notes:
*Soviets
*Social engineering vs. “fundamentalism”
*Laura Huxley gave many lectures at Esalen
*Flipping America from aesthetic to erotic
*Freud
*Tantra
*The president gave some of them permission to go to Russia during the boycott to follow up on reports of Soviet psychical research. Many of the books on “remote viewing” (based at Stanford if I remember right) mention a book on this topic.
*The familiar picture of the earth from space, seeing the planet as “one” (my comment: meaning that we should surrender all identity, differences and independence. Space is used for globalist propaganda). It takes lots of time and good propaganda to train us to see a world empire as a good thing.
*Martial arts
*Psychedelics
*Quantum religion
Wikipedia Articles Related to Esalen (tip of the iceberg)
I understand that many people, including me, may have positive feelings towards a couple of these people. I’m not trying to present a blanket dismissal of every last thing they say and do. I’m building up some connections to allow us to see the big picture of organized control–the doctrines of a new type of religious system which has been built up around us. What “legitimizes” the intellectuals who teach us via the media? Who gives them their “authority”? Let’s pay attention to their doctrines and compare them to the messages we receive from media, think tanks, UN agencies and governments.
