Media propaganda against Syria
www.globalresearch.ca, November 25, 2011: Media Lies Used to Provide a Pretext for Another “Humanitarian War”: Protest in Syria: Who Counts the Dead?
Update:
The International Institute for Strategic Studies, www.iiss.org, November 15, 2011: Revolutionary road: Among the Syrian opposition
“Free Syrian Army (FSA) commanders told me that they are gearing up for direct confrontation in coming months with the forces loyal to President Assad, regardless of whether they have the support of a foreign intervention.
“They say defections are increasing, and a FSA officer boasted to me that men at arms number 17,000 across the country…”
The obvious point to make from this is that Western, including Canadian media, has been LYING – misrepresenting a civil war situation, an armed insurrection, as if it was only a matter of unarmed protesters. This is to stir the emotions of people enough that they won’t object to Western intervention, sanctions and war.
Here is an example:
www.cbc.ca, Nov. 26, 2011: Arab League discusses Syria sanctions
“The meeting in Cairo comes after Syria missed Friday’s deadline to approve entry for about 500 Arab League observers, a measure aimed at ending a violent crackdown on anti-government protesters.
“The crackdown on dissidents is reported to be getting more brutal by the day, but President Bashar al-Assad’s regime continues to defy the Arab League ultimatum.”
The CBC has been whipping it up day after day.
So, no, I’m not going to listen to your war mongering propaganda. The news media is just a pack of liars. It’s called imperialism. And they’re taking sides already just like in Libya.
I don’t agree with NATO’s wars. I don’t agree with its agenda. I don’t agree with bombing people we don’t know and starving people of supplies. Let people fight their own wars. I don’t want the Canadian government to participate in any more of these!
And Syria was already put on the hit list in the 1990’s along with other nations that would not conform to the will of the globalists who run the UN, the U.S., Canada and Europe.
Here is the famous PNAC document, Rebuilding America’s Defenses, September, 2000, a report of the Project for a New American Century, p. 51:
“That is why, according to the CIA, a number of regimes deeply hostile to America – North Korea, Iraq, Iran, Libya and Syria – “already have or are developing ballistic missiles” that could threaten U.S allies and forces abroad.”
(Afghanistan is on p. 40)
Syria, Iraq and Lebanon are also discussed in the 1990’s document:
A Clean Break: A New Strategy for Securing the Realm. This is a report ‘prepared by The Institute for Advanced Strategic and Political Studies’ “Study Group on a New Israeli Strategy Toward 2000.”‘

Update:
So all of this is planned already, so it’s wall to wall lies 24-7.
It would be great if Canadians could suddenly have a heart and care about what is being done in their name, if they suddenly developed some self-respect and realized that all these escalating wars that NATO is involved in will just bring them nothing but economic suffering and growing police state measures, and loss of sovereignty. That’s the point of war. Greater control over our lives by government, greater centralization of power, and taking away our remaining freedoms.
Update, 29/11/2011:
The Plan — according to U.S. General Wesley Clark (Ret.) – General Wesley Clark, Democracy Now, March 2, 2007 – “In an interview with Amy Goodman on March 2, 2007, U.S. General Wesley Clark (Ret.), explains that the Bush Administration planned to take out 7 countries in 5 years: Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Iran”.
