North American Union proceeds with another defence agreement
Canada, Mexico, U.S. enhance defence co-operation
CBC News – March 27, 2012
“Threats to North America and the hemisphere are increasingly complex and require non-traditional responses … we have agreed to enhance our co-operation to support efforts to counter transnational criminal organizations and to respond to natural disasters in the hemisphere,” the defence representatives said in a joint statement.
Canada’s Defence Minister Peter MacKay said, “This inaugural trilateral defence meeting formalized and strengthened the necessary co-operation between our three countries.”
Reinforcing and building on previous agreements, we have foreign militaries – one of them at least regularly committing atrocities such as “collateral damage” and torture – getting ready to invade each others’ countries for every lame excuse: “natural disasters”, etc. The Canadian government just gives blanket implied approval to the actions of the U.S. government and military as they surrender Canadian sovereignty piece by piece. This began with the Liberals with the various SPP agreements and continues with the Conservatives.
Is there any kind of resistance to this North American integration from Canadian politicians of any stripe? I used to think the NDP generally were anti-war. I wonder if any of the members have any objections.
Some people also have the mistaken belief that the Conservative Party is anti-socialist and anti-big government, but here it is continually supporting this huge North American integration project and major step towards world government and the destruction of national sovereignty. It proves what they’re really about.
