UK Internet and email surveillance to include secret courts
PM defends secret hearing proposals
uk.news.yahoo.com – April 4, 2012
“Secret court hearings and increased monitoring of emails and internet use …
“Draft legislation, expected in next month’s Queen’s Speech, would propose allowing the Government’s listening centre GCHQ to access information from emails and internet use “on demand” without a warrant.”
So if someone was brought before one of these court hearings in this proposed system, the public would never know anything about it?
Invasion of privacy + secrecy = totalitarian power.
