Status update on “Bathroom Bill” C-279
Campaign Life Coalition | February 27, 2013
Last week, CLC alerted pro-family Canadians about the third (and final) reading on Bill C-279 scheduled to commence on February 27. At the time, we thought a vote could be imminent, but now it appears that we have a bit more time to continue lobbying.
The first hour debate on third reading occurred February 27. The political landscape did not change much as a result of that debate. In fact the same arguments as before were rehashed and most of the hour was dominated by NDP and Liberals who support the bill, with just a few revealing statements that further reinforce why this bill must be defeated.
The next steps, from what we’re hearing, is that there will be a second hour of debate around March 27, followed by a final vote in mid-April. If it passes, it’s likely to also pass in the Senate.
Then Canada’s laws will actually affirm and promote the dangerous philosophy that a biological male can actually be a woman, if he simply feels that way in his mind. The law will send the message to all of society that one’s physical anatomy is irrelevant to whether you are a boy or a girl, with all the accompanying implications. …
Their main article is really worth reading. They explain all of the implications very clearly:
Transgender Bathroom Bills
The push for recognition of “Gender Identity and “Gender Expression” will open a Pandora’s box …
Is Bill C-279 an innocuous bill? Not at all. The unintended consequences are huge. …
One of the consequences they list:
If C-279 becomes law, it will become impossible to prevent the theory of ‘gender fluidity’ from being introduced in school curriculum, even as early as Kindergarten. …
They refer to these as “unintended” consequences. I would add my point that the idea of confusing children about gender is a deliberate international agenda, and is one of the points in Exclaim! A Young people’s guide to ‘Sexual Rights: an IPPF declaration, which I explained and posted here, put out by the International Planned Parenthood Federation.
In recent years, there has been an acceleration of these kinds of policies. So we’re talking about the stepping up of the deliberate destruction of our society and the creation of a new type of totalitarian world which we refer to in short-form as Brave New Word (a book by Aldous Huxley) where human beings are reduced to atomized slaves, which is Aldous Huxley’s “ultimate revolution”. As per Bertrand Russell’s descriptions of this same type of government, children can be indoctrinated to believe anything. As in George Orwell’s 1984, each citizen will be required to believe whatever absolute nonsense the State teaches them. Mostly it’s here already.
