Undersea Ruins: Our Hidden Past
Jeff Rense Interview with Graham Hancock
You can listen to the Nov. 19 interview here at Jeff Rense Program Archives. (1)
The physical evidence seems to confirm the idea that an ancient civilization may have been lost when coastlines were flooded at the end of the last ice age. In this interview, Jeff Rense and Graham Hancock discuss recent discoveries off the coasts of Japan, India and Cuba, as well as the reluctance of science to consider the possibility that these underwater structures are man-made. Graham Hancock feels that mainstream science must become involved in exploring these sites, and presents the physical evidence in his new book Underworld: The Mysterious Origins of Civilization.
Graham Hancock was hopeful that public interest about these discoveries in India and elsewhere will lead to a breakthrough; and this seems to be happening now with the Cuban site.
I’ve heard Graham Hancock before, and he is always interesting and opinionated. It was fascinating to listen to this discussion about how the media keeps the public in the dark about alternative ideas concerning science, history and politics.
On a different topic – Jeff Rense doesn’t hesitate to mix politics into the discussion – Graham Hancock was impressed with how many Americans expressed their opposition to a potential war with Iraq despite the mainstream media’s distortions.
Although I don’t approve of some of his conspiracy guests and their theories, I agree with Jeff Rense that people let themselves be programmed by TV to become passive consumers, unable to think for themselves. I also agree that the mainstream media seems to filter out information that is inconsistent with accepted views.
I’ve only recently started listening to Jeff Rense since his archives have gone online. His presentation is skillful and intense, and it’s impressive how he combines political and alternative topics.
