Quotes from an upcoming book by Professor Ralph Raico, to be published by the Mises Institute:

[Keynes] confessed that he had played in his mind “with the possibilities of greater social changes than come within the present philosophies” even of Fabian socialist thinkers like Sidney Webb. “The republic of my imagination lies on the extreme left of celestial space,” he mused.

The state, according to Keynes, will even decide on the optimal level of population…So, the state–in its guise as “civilized man”–will channel and oversee the reproduction of the human race as well.

Keynes gushes over the Soviets will to engage in bold “experiments” in social engineering. In Russia, “the method of trial-and-error is unreservedly employed. No one has ever been more experimentalist than Lenin.”…

The same type of extreme State control was described by H. G. Wells, Bertrand Russell and by many others such as Aldous Huxley, and Julian Huxley. Examples of policies include population control, world government and modification of human beings.

It appears to me that Keynesian economics was intentionally unleashed on Western nations like Canada for decades as one method of undermining our society financially, morally and philosophically.

In any case, many who are interested in politics and economics think of the system we live under as just a bunch of well-intentioned people making mistakes about economics and other areas and never quite getting it right because they somehow don’t know how to think clearly.

I think the documented evidence – written down by these social planners mentioned above and many others – shows that we live in a class system ruled over by elitists who want total control over us and plan for the long-term. They also use “left” and “right” or opposing arguments as a technique to give us false or incomplete choices, where one side is right for one group and wrong for the other.

Here are a couple of relevant quotes from The Open Conspiracy by H. G. Wells:

“And when we come to the general functioning classes, landowners, industrial organizers, bankers, and so forth, who control the present system, such as it is, it should be still plainer that it is very largely from the ranks of these classes, and from their stores of experience and traditions of method, that the directive forces of the new order must emerge…”

“…there remains a residuum of original and intelligent people in banking or associated with banking or mentally interested in banking, who do realize that banking plays a very important and interesting part in the world’s affairs, who are curious about their own intricate function and disposed towards a scientific investigation of its origins, conditions, and future possibilities. Such types move naturally towards the Open Conspiracy. Their enquiries carry them inevitably outside the bankers’ habitual field to an examination of the nature, drift, and destiny of the entire economic process.”
