Hi, I’m Alan Mercer of the Libertarian Party of Canada.
As a libertarian, I don’t want government dominating our lives and robbing us of choices.
Liberty means the right to do what you want with your property and person – as long as you don’t interfere with the rights of others.
It’s time to hold criminals accountable for what they do to people.
A necessary reform to the justice system is to require restitution or compensation from criminals, to victims and their families.
It’s also time to restrain the Canadian government from foreign intervention.
We should stay out of conflicts that are none of our business.
We should have nothing to do with the bombing of civilians.
We should stay independent from the U.S. with its torture and nuclear weapons policies.
I would ask Scarborough-Rouge River residents to vote Libertarian on January 23rd.
