I first learned about this idea in Grade 7 back in the 70’s from a classroom discussion about “Chariots of the Gods”. And I deliberately tried to memorize the date (I can’t confirm now if it was the exact date Dec. 21, 2012 – it was the same date or something similar). We were literally expecting alien spaceships to land like in Battlestar Galactica.
