Thoughts on anti-carbon tax movement – what the message should be
Re. climate conferences in Paris and Canadian Liberal government’s support of climate change measures.
If I was part of a movement that stood up against the “carbon pricing” (that has already been implemented provincially in some cases) then I would be clear about my message. The movement would have to be focused on provincial governments as much as the federal government.
There are three points, but if you can’t agree on the third point, you can drop it.
Regardless of whether there is human-caused climate change or not, we reject the carbon tax or carbon pricing policy. It’s a bad policy because:
1) It undermines our freedom.
2) It undermines our financial well-being.
Explaining 1) It’s an effort to modify our behavior.
Explaining 2) It takes money from our pockets, so it threatens our own ability to survive and prosper. Why is it a good idea for the government to make us poor. What happens to those who are poor already? This is simple arithmetic. Less money means less choice about everything you buy: shelter, travel, food, clothing, everything. Whether or not you can afford to heat your home, whether or not you can keep your home, whether or not you can afford to travel by car. All of this is going to affect where you live, how well you live, how warm you are, how happy you are, how healthy you are. Those who are on the edge already are going to slide off it first. It’s arithmetic. Are you OK with that? Some people obviously are. We’re trained to care about ourselves but not others. We’re patting ourselves on the back for how obedient we are and how we go along with the cool new doctrines that are screwing up our heads and those of our children.
3) The human-caused, carbon-caused climate change doctrine is a complete lie. It’s a power grab.
Challenge it, ask for evidence, and it falls apart. It’s just an appeal to authority and other logical fallacies. It’s just a bunch of manipulative stories about glaciers melting and polar bears drowning and hurricanes. Nobody ever heard of hurricanes or flooding before or drought? Literally, Southern California is a desert but Californians are told to obsess over their “drought” as if there hasn’t always been drought. You people live in a desert! That’s the level of complete crap we have to listen to.
The First Global Revolution by the Club of Rome, page 115 of my copy, explains that climate change “would fit the bill” in terms of how they would turn humanity into a “common enemy” of itself so that they can “unite,” in other words, so that they can create a unified world, or a world government.
It’s a power grab. It’s a wealth grab. It’s a leveling of everyone who might have the means to stand up against the corporate monopolists who are creating a scientific dictatorship.
“Climate change” is part of a whole series of techniques that are being used to dominate us and bring us to our knees. One of these is staged terrorism using mercenaries and cult members, leveling trade agreements like the TPP, also staged “protests” (mercenaries means paid stooges–there are all sorts–violent and non-violent–often young and stupid. Yeah, brainwashed young people know so much? They’re going to “change” things. Really. Who’s paying their plane tickets?) Another is the “refugee crisis” caused by their war against Syria. Talk about a Trojan Horse (or don’t talk about it)! Another is the cultural and mental contamination of the entertainment industry–teaching people new lows in behavior year by year so that we become more and more dysfunctional and easily manipulated. The list goes on and on. I won’t even try.
The climate change doctrine is full of contradictions. They claimed there was global warming, but for many years there hasn’t been any global warming. Different parts of the earth have warmed and cooled, which is normal. The earth’s climate changes naturally. They have the gall (they’re expert at propaganda) to demonize carbon dioxide, but carbon dioxide is essential for plant life. If it traps heat, good, so what? But there’s so little of it. Why not blame the oceans and volcanoes and dead trees for emitting carbon dioxide? What about water vapor? Why not demonize that? It’s a greenhouse gas. So what? It’s nonsense.
They have this ploy this year of claiming that this coming winter is going to be warmer in Canada. So what? The earth’s climate has always varied. There have always been weather disasters. What complete garbage–wall to wall garbage. Prove your garbage. Show all your evidence. Oh, but you have the media on your side–yes, because the owners of the media back the climate change propaganda. The wealthiest and most powerful people in the world control the agenda and back the so-called protesters. What a joke. It’s a system of resource monopoly, artificial scarcity, taking the resources away from middle class Westerners who’ve had a little bit of prosperity for many years, and it creates a system of total control over everything we buy–item by item, pushing us into a very limited form of existence. So you guys are going to be getting richer while everyone else is getting poorer. It’s domination. People have been dumb enough to go along with it too. We’re all sucking in propaganda–about everything. Let’s stop doing that and let’s push back.
